The Department of Applied Social Sciences, Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Faculty of Technical and Human Sciences Târgu-Mureș is pleased to announce its second international conference on LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY IN EUROPE, which will be held on 10–11 May 2013.
The printed volume of our first conference (Communication Culture and Translinguistics in Europe) will be available in April 2013.
Conference languages: English, German, Romanian and Hungarian.
Presentations (20 min), posters, case studies, workshops as well as round-table
suggestions are invited in the following sections:
1. Mother tongue language pedagogy and foreign language teaching
2. The theory and practice of translation
3. The tradition of multilingualism in the European culture
4. Language use and linguistic links
5. Applied linguistics
We would be honoured to welcome you at our conference. Please mention the type of your presentation and section. Please send the title, abstract and keywords of your paper in the language of presentation by 15 March 2013 to the following address: pletlritams.sapientia.ro, including your name, title and affiliation. We will do our best to publish the papers presented during the event in the conference
volume.
Conference fee (upon registration): 250 RON. The fee will cover conference materials,
accommodation, coffee breaks and meals. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
