In collaboration with Continental (Sibiu) a new optional course, entitled Applications of microcontrollers in Automotive will start in the first semester of the 2014/2015 academic year.
The course is offered for the students of the Automation and applied informatics, Computer science, Telecommunication, Mechatronics BSc study program as well as for students of the Computer Controlled Systems and the Advanced mechatronical systems MSc study programs. Topics that will be covered: Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, ISOTP, UDS), Automotive functionalities of embedded systems (Routing, Diagnostics, Error Memory, Communication management). Class schedule will be available in the general timetable. Registration is open until the 18th of September 2014 at the Electrical Engineering Department.
